In Marriage...Or is it an Anniversary?

No ~ this is not a wedding card but an anniversary card. I wanted a little something pretty for my niece's anniversary. So I started with the beautiful heart verse that I've had for some time and hoping to use on a card at some point. I colored the stamp with my Tom Bow ink pens. I then cut it out and popped it up with my stamping dots to add more dimension and used my pretty Marianne Design Die Cut again for the back round. Hoping it looked like a ~ anniversary card?

think the beautiful verse was versatile for either a wedding or an anniversary? Because the verse was so pretty I didn't have to put a computer generated verse inside as I usually would do. Instead I simply stamped "Happy Anniversary" inside. Sometimes less...is more!

Adding pearls to the heart's flowers and iridescent Ranger Stickles to the inside of the flowers that surround the heart, helped add a touch of wedding elegance as a reminder of how weddings feel so feminine and pretty. I also used my Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch and added my own tiny lavender flowers giving it a it a bit more of dimension to a few of the hearts flowers. Lastly, I added the organza flower which added a another look of soft elegance.

Happy to have you stop by today.

Thanks for peeking.
