January 2014....Card and Calendar....

In the beginning of the year it was my daughters mother- in- laws birthday (Cindy) and we always enjoy each others company when visiting my daughter at the same time.  With Cindy's birthday being the first of January I wanted to send her a sweet little card and mail to her for her birthday this year.

Each year I seem to forget her special day because it so close to the after Christmas rush.  This year I made it a point to make a card and get it in the mail right away. I didn't want the card to be empty so I made her this cute little calendar to send along with her card to match.

The card was simple and easy to match the birthday card.

If your interested in the free printable calendar for yourself to print (as I did) you can find it on Pinterest in my "Printable's" folder on my Pinterest blog area.  Here is a link for you to go directly there so you can print them off if you like?

I just had to add this pretty light feminine feather.  I though it really gave the card some interest.
Thanks for stopping!  Here's your ticket for you to stop by again next week and visit with me.  I enjoyed having you!

Grandma's Doily...

Time to post again.  My where does the time go?  Seems like I just get done posting a new card and it's time once again to give you another peek.

I made this card for my sister-in-laws birthday and sent it to her.
She was tickled.  Since he enjoys vintage or older things I thought she'd like this?

Love the Hello Doily stamp from Stampin Up and I used it once again to achieve a cute grandma style card with a twist of French flair to the doily.  As you probably have noticed pink is one of my favorite colors when card crafting.

Hope your enjoying your crafting week?  I hope to have you stop again next week?

Valentines Day Heart....

I've seen so many pretty Valentine's cards out there others have created so I decided to make a quick card to share with you for the holiday.

As many of you know I am in love with this heart from Memory Box LaRue Die Cut Heart #98255 and just had to use it for this Valentines card.

I picked up the Valentine stamp that says...."Happy Valentine's Day" several years back from Michael's Arts and Crafts after the holiday had ended.  It was reduced nicely and to pretty to pass up.  I'm glad I did because I love the script writing the stamp offers.

I hope you all enjoy your Valentines Day?

Wishing each of my blog friends Happy Valentine's Day!
