Long Stem Rose....

I love this rose stamp and rarely use it.  So after making a pretty background frame with Spellbinders Nestabilities "Timeless Rectangle" I decided the "TImeless Rectangle"  might look pretty for the focal point along with the rose?
The pink center paper frame is from Spellbinders Nestabilities called "Decorative Labels Eight".  I then overlapped Spellbinders Nestabilities "Floral Ovals" before over lapping the rose stamp on top.
I lightly smeared glitter all over the leaves and outline.  I then crunched the large leaves to give it more depth rather than leaving the leaves flat. I used the green leaf die cut called " B117 Fanciful Flourish" to the background of the rose .   I added a tiny bow and some white covered wire and spiraled the wire and added gauge to the background hoping to give it a little more whimsical character?
Again, pink and green are two of my favorite color combinations together.

Have a fantastic week everyone!

  1. Your card is so pretty Leanne. Pink is one of my favorite colors. The stamp looks very familiar, a very striking image for your focal point. The glitter gives the rose a hint of sparkle, very pretty. I especially love the bit of cheesecloth incorporated into the design, perfectly stunning! I hope you've had a wonderful holiday weekend so far. Hugs, Jerri

  2. Leanne, I love this card. The sparkle on the leaves and the gorgeous delicate rose.

  3. Beautiful card Leanne, such delicate colours and that rose really sparkles....

  4. This is stunning Leanne. The rose is superb. Such a beautiful card.

  5. So beautiful! I have that die and you have inspired me to get it out and use it again.
I really do like that you used that die for your frame...used my favorite color, pink! and favoriite flower! I like everything about this card!

Thanks for taking your time to comment. I love hearing from you. Thanks....
