Sending You Thoughts & Prayers....

This card appears to be simple but sweet. Not much involved here in making it.
Still using my Martha Stewart Punch and Flower Soft here on this card.

I had a girlfriend who was having medical tests and needed some encourgement along the way
so I hurried and made this pretty little card to send to her.

The background color is a very deep purple.  No matter how I tried to photograph it, it just doesn't want to look purple in the picture?

Thats all for this week. Stop by again next week and I will have another card that is a combination between this card and something quite similar.

Blessings...to you all!

Purple Flowers...

I like this particular die cut from Marianne Designs quite a lot as I think you can tell because I have posted  quite a few cards with this die cut.

I have the Martha Stewart punch to make these cute little flowers.  I used the same punch here to make two different styles of flowers.  The middle dark purple flower I used my Stylest pen and crushed the center with the Stylest pen it to make the petals look like they are punched outward.  For the two light violet flowers I used both the large and small Martha Stewart punch to make the flowers look a bit different from the large purple flower.  I then added a small amount of  multi color flower soft to the center of each flower.  I like they way they turned out after adding the multi colored flower soft to the center of each flower.

I made this card into a get well card and sent it to my niece who had surgery a short while ago.

Thanks for stopping.

Subtle Differences....

Two different cards with the same look and same colors just reversed a little.  The differences are very subltle.  Two different look a likes.

Both cards have been sent out for birthday wishes, one to my cousin and there other to my sister-in- law for their birthday this year.  They both were pleasantly surprised and said they loved them and enjoyed them as much as I did making them?  Happy Birthday girls.  Hope you enjoyed your day?

Yellow The Pleasure...

I began playing with my favorite die cut from Marianne Design LR 0200 and decided to add some embossing with my Cuttlebug folder "Kassie's Brocade" to add more interest at the top of the paper. I then cut out a corner from my Spellbinders Nestabilities "Fleur De Lis Squares" in yellow and placed it beneath the die cut from Marianne Design.  I liked the look here and added another piece of yellow paper to match with a Martha Stewart Punch around the page.

I added a few other touches to the top and it was done.  I enjoyed creating this one because I was very pleased with the way it turned out.  I hope you do too?

Happy crafting to your day!
