Happy Valentine's Day 2012...

Here's my little treasure that I would like to share with you for Valentine's Day.  I chose not to go with the traditional red color card but a traditional pink that is sometimes used for this holiday.  Only because... red is not a favorite color of mine.  Come to think of it....I think I have only one red card that I've made or posted on my blog in the past?  If I have time, I might have to play with my paper and supplies to see If I can't come up with a red traditional Valentines card?

Hope your Valentines day is filled with loads of love? Perhaps a little cupid will send you a voluptuous Valentines card or box of decedent candy wrapped with love?  Regardless...enjoy the day stampers.

Happy Valentine's Day Friends!!!!

Blessings..to all!

Swirling Lace...

Forgive me for being a bit slower on this post this week.  My husband had surgery this past week and I'm trying to catch up since I've been busy with him the last couple of days.  He's so glad to be home after three days in the hospital.  Now my work begins helping him and physical therapy begins to help him regain his strength.   Things will be a bit hectic here for a while till he can get back to normal.  It's hard to see your loved one in pain.  God willing he will recoup soon? I thank all my close friends and church family for all your prayers for him.  It meant a lot to both of us.  Thank you!

This sweet little card is for my dear friends birthday, again this year.  I made it for her and hope that she won't see this on my blog before her birthday? I'm taking a chance but, oh well?

I bought the Martha Stewart punch around the page called Swirling Lace.  I went a bit crazy with it and made two outside layers and a round layer in the center to see if I could use the corner punch to make a round center. I succeeded. Yea!!! I also added lace, to two corners to help finish it off.  I made two pretty stick pins with beads to add more bling, bling to it.    The "Birthday Blessing" greeting is computer generated and cut it out with Spellbinders die cut called Shapeabilities Fancy Tags.

Here is a close up for you.

Previously on one of my posting I showed you my pillow box's that I made for small gifts.  I think the pillow box matches the card quite quite a bit and will probably give that to her with the card, as well?

Lastly, I have entered this card into a challenge at Last But Not Least.
Wish me luck?
Thanks for peeking....and hope to have you back soon?
Oh yea...don't forget to leave me feedback.  I love your comments!

Blessings....your way!

A Hydrangea Flower Once Again! ....

Good Morning, Afternoon or Evening everyone...
No matter where you might be at the moment?
I know some of my viewers are from way over there in
Europe or some from the Eastern Hemisphere.
No matter where your peeking from I'm glad
to have you stop by.
Anyways...
Welcome to the New Year and
Welcome back to my blog for 2012.

Not lots to share today but this cute Hydrangea card for the New Year.  I was anxious to get this card posted this week because I again used my Hydrangea punch from Martha Stewart and used a free digital stamp that I downloaded from the Internet.  For the life of me now, I cannot remember what website I found the free digital Hydrangea on?  I tried finding it again on the Internet but to no avail?  However, I printed the flower off on my computer and was able to color the  green leaves with my Tom Bow Water Color Pens and the  hydrangea flower of the actual Hydrangea that you cannot see because the dimensional flowers I adhered to the front makes it unable to show.

Here is a closeup of the flower.  I also added a little dab of Iridescent Stickles to the inside center of each flower.  It adds a little bling however, real Hydrangea's really do have a yellow center in them.  I just happen to like the look of the Stickles inside of each flower.

That's it for now.  It's always a pleasure having you stop by to be with me at my blog.  Hope your New Year is going well so far and the New Year's resolutions are still taking effect on your part?  Here's another small resolution I made (below) to try and add my supplies I used for my cards for you during the year.  I'll try to give it my all.  Promise.

Blessings to all....
