Heartfelt Thank You...

I want to extend my sincere thanks to Joan and Selma at Joan's Garden this week after entering my bookmark last week into her Weekly Challenge (#10).  I was chosen randomly and have "WON" this challenge with my bookmark shown in last weeks post.  I run away with a huge smile in my heart.  It's been a pleasure getting to know you and being part of this weeks fun and challenge.

To see more about this bookmark you can go to my post
here from last week.

Hoping you all have a blessed weekend ....Leanne

Envelope Bookmark Challenge

I usually do not post more than one card a week.  However... today  I have  entered this cute little corner bookmark I made into a "Weekly Challenge #10 at "Joan's Gardens".  I had originally seen a similar book mark done at Selma's Stamping Corner who directed you onto "Joan's Garden" to enter her Weekly Challenge.

Since I really liked Selma's idea I went ahead and made a bookmark here to match an existing card that I had already posted here on my site two weeks ago.

I love being able to give a little something extra to a person when I give them a card. I thought this was a good fit to a little something extra to match my card.  I've made other bookmarks in the past but thought this style was a bit different than an ordinary oblong sized bookmark.  The inside of the bookmark has an envelope corner that was cut off diagonally from an old envelope as directed by Joan and covered on the other side with the pink background here to match.

I hope this will inspire you to create?
Thanks for stopping by.

Mix N' Match....

Hello stampers...
Today....I've mixed and matched these two cards to show you different ideas with different colors and embellished the card front with flowers while using my Marianne Design Embossing Folder D90507 and Marianne Design Die Cut LR0156.

I've taken two entirely different Marianne embossing tools and made it look like it's one full embossed card front.

Laying this card down unfortunately does not help you to see that it is all one piece of paper that I cut and embossed at different ends and then placed real lace between the different designs just to help it look prettier.

Here is the inside verse I chose for this card.  Whenever, I'm in need for a quick "Thank You" card for someone I think this will be sufficient? Of course, the verse is computer generated.  I first typed my verse and then ran the off white card stock through my computer with verse below, then cut it to size, and began embellishing my card front.

I also put a K & Company dimensional sticker inside both cards next to the verse.  Thus, giving the card a little more character inside when opening the card instead, of just a plane old verse standing alone.

Below are a few more views of the light lavender card.

Laying down again.

A close up of the K & Company dimensional stickers used on this card.

And here you have a cute little verse computer generated for a
 "Thinking of You" card.

A closer look at the left bottom corner of this card with another beautiful butterfly dimensional sticker from K & Company for you.

I hope these close ups give you a more personal view
so you can get a better feel for my cards?

May your day be filled with God's richest blessings...

Sweet Little Thing...

Welcome back friends...

My last post I acquired a couple of new "Google Followers" to my site and new friends who delighted me in their gracious comments.  Thank you and hope you enjoy coming back each week to visit with me here.  I look forward to your next visit with me.

I hope you've been enamored with this new die cut from Marianne Designs as much as, I have?  Seems like there is just so much you can do with this die cut.  I have made several cards with it and I will continue in the next few weeks to share what I have made with you.

I love vellum and put vellum to work here with my card.  I used my embossing folder from Cuttlebug with Motif's or Brocade's on it and embossed it and then cut off the right corner and added plain vellum to that corner by adhering it with strong glue dots to turn the corner over and punched a rhinestone brad to hold it in place.

The rest of the card is simple and you can figure
out my pretty little flowers this time are not homemade.

Hope you share a little feedback today?

Blessings to each of you out there.. from Leanne

Marianne Design Corner Die...

I'm posting a tad bit early this week as I'll be busy all weekend.

I fell in love with this Marianne Design newer die cut and had to order one for myself right away.  I began immediately creating after receiving my new die cut and this here is what I came up with.  I was truly happy with my creation with this die cut.  It's certainly not my work but the beauty of the die cut that makes it look so elegant.

I used my Slice machine and cut out the pretty pink flower and crinkled the paper to give it a more dimensional flower look. I used micro-fine glitter and put it all over the Spellbinders Fleur De Lei's center die cut and flower. Unfortunately my camera will not pick up the effect for you to see. So when you look at the card it really has loads of glam with the fine glitter shinning in the light.

One day I sat and made quite a few pretty little stick pins and decided to put two stick pins on this card to add more glam.

I know I'll be making many more cards with this particular die cut. I hope you enjoyed stopping by and hope to have you come back soon for more cards to peek at?  I'll be sharing more cards with this die cut soon.

I have entered this card in Stamping Sister's In Christ Challenge #130,

Have yourself a wonderful day!

A Bow Today...

I have a few cards backed up for you to view and this is one of them.  I liked the way this little card turned out.  You may notice that I do not usually have a bow on many of my cards.  Today this pretty off white bow smiles for you.  I bought a new Spellbinders Die Cut called Fleur De Li's Squares last November.  I gave the die cut a quick try and came up with this card.  I love the look of this die cut.  It's quite elegant.

As you look closely you will see four little plastic crystal tear drops glued onto the lace.  I think the tear drops look much prettier in person than in the picture as the iridescent color does not show up. Below you will see other supplies used on this card.

Good Day Ladies and "Thanks" for joining me here today.
Abundant blessings to each of you!
