Soft Pastels

I fooled around with this card and tried to just do a small portion of my Marianne Design Die Cut on the edge only of this card. Not the whole die cut on the front.  Not so sure... it's as nice as I had hoped for but decided to post it anyways.  I decide to use this card for a challenge at Stampin Sisters In Christ Challenge #136.  I love the soft pastels together on this card and the challenge was about pastel colors.  So what could be better?

 

 

With this card I used two different stamps sets.  One was a Stampin"-Up stamp set and I do not know the name of the set?  I borrowed the set from my daughter and have given it back to her so I can't check for you.  Sorry...     

However, the other stamp is a Penny Black stamp.  I combined the two stamps to give it a added look of several flowers for the front rather than just one big daisy. I love the large daisey stamp, don't you? 

As I've mentioned before I usually always put a computer generated verse into the inside of each of my cards to give it a more personal touch rather than just handwriting a simple Happy Birthday in my own handwriting inside.  For this card I chose a pretty Birthday verse I liked and used my Marianne Creatable Die Cut and then popped up the verse for the inside of the card.
